Vanessa Torres is a Senior, graduating in May 2019 at California State University, Long Beach. She is pursuing a bachelors of science degree in Human Resources and Communications. She guides and mentors the vice chairs, coordinates events, and serves as an ambassador with the student community at CSULB. She engages the Business Community and the Student Community by putting in place several events during the year such as; The Lideres Mentorship Program, The Southern California Business Development Conference, The Energy and Transportation Forums and Mujeres del Año awards ceremony. “The Regional Hispanic Youth Council has opened the doors of opportunity within my professional career. From planning and executing large scale events, to working with professionals, I have gained the skills to strengthen my professional image. I am beyond grateful for all the opportunities Sandy, the Chamber, and the Institute have given me.”
