Norma Capitanachi Born in Veracruz, Mexico. She studied in Mexico City obtaining a degree in Business Administration. At age of 18 years old, she started a Social and Entertainment magazine in Chihuahua, Mexico. She came to America to learn English and planned to return to Mexico but got married and decided to stay in Southern California. She spent time in print media working in Marketing and Public Relations in Laguna Beach for the “Golf In Mexico” magazine promoting Mexican Tourism and Golf Courses for American and Canadian golf enthusiasts. Twelve years ago, an opportunity with Quinceanera Magazine was presented to her where she became the Director/owner of the Southern California Region. Quinceanera Magazine is my passion because it combines tradition, community, family and young people. The Quinceanera is one of the most important celebrations in the US Latin Community. The magazine is the only local magazine focused on Quinceaneras and is in over 180 stores in Southern California. As the producer of the Quinceanera Expo, Norma give the opportunity to Latino families to choose event services vendors for their celebrations. Founder of Qteen Model program, Norma offers the opportunity to Latino girls to model and be volunteers in community events with groups like the LAPD toy drives and different charities in SoCal.
